    Description

    1800 George III / Failed Plot, Bronze Medal PCGS Certified SP-64, BHM-483; Eimer-916, ex Salton Collection
    Medial by C. H. Kuechler.
    Diameter: 47mm. This is a large medal and is enclosed in a large PCGS slab. Do not be deceived by the photos, the slab is very big.
    Obverse: Garlanded, draped, and armored bust left;
    Reverse: Garlanded flaming altar; above, radiant Eye of Providence.
    Edge: Plain.
    Presenting immensely prooflike and majestic fields that drip with luster, this dazzling near-Gem undoubtedly excites the eye and features warm brown hues throughout. This type commemorates the king’s preservation following a failed ass’n attempt by James Hadfield.
