Exceptional difficult to find early example 1920s Van Briggle 9.5”’Lorelei Vase Two Color. Condition is excellent. Dead matte glaze is mulberry with dark purplish blue highlights. Very similar to the 1925 example in the permanent collection of the Brooklyn Museum (see image #11). Very mild crazing to surface is barely noticeable at all and only mentioned for complete accuracy. Marks on the sandy bottom include the conjoined double A for Artus and Anna, and the words VAN BRIGGLE and Colo SPRGS. Please ask questions before purchasing and thank you for looking.
