    Description

An interesting prisoner-of-war cover mailed by an interned Polish soldier at Vevey Internment Camp and addressed to the International Red Cross Committee in Geneva, Switzerland. In lieu of postage, there is a "Internement de Militaires en Suisse" marking in a circle. A single line "315" in violet. Printed on the left in Polish is "Internowanym zolnierzom polskim", roughly "Interned Polish Soldiers". Below that, in German, "Schweiz. kathol. Jungmannschaftsverband", "Swiss Catholic Youth Union" (?) and below that a similar line in Polish. This cover measures 162mm x 115mm. See scans for condition.
