1948 Goodyear Tire & Rubber golfing trophy, Akron, Ohio

Description

Here is a very nice small golf trophy from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Akron, Ohio.  Probably from one of their leagues during and after the war.  It's about 6" tall -- perfect size to fit on a shelf or in a display cabinet.  The plate is marked Goodyear 1948; no names or tournaments listed.  Solid, heavy piece.  Very good condition with no breakage or major scuffs/mars.  Could use a good, gentle polishing.  Nice item.  Be the bidder!

PAPER ITEMS: Paper items such as  postcards, pamphlets, trade cards, sheet music, etc. normally are shipped in a rigid holder or with cardboard in a soft bubble envelope or in a cardboard envelope. I pack EVERYTHING carefully.
RETURNS: I will gladly accept a return if I describe an item inaccurately. You must notify me within 14 days of receipt of the item, and the ad description must have been markedly incorrect. I will reimburse the full purchase price and the return postage. I MUST receive the item back in the same condition I sent it out.
