1970 Topps Scratch-Offs Baseball Cards - Willie Stargell, Pittsburgh Pirates, Team CaptainThe 1970 Topps Scratch-Off Set cards were inserted in packs of 1970 Topps baseball cards. These inserts were popular with kids, as they could play a game of baseball, by scratching off one of the 44 plays that are covered in black ink.
The 1970 Topps Scratch-Off Set consists of 24 unnumbered folded cardboard inserts, that measure 3 3/8" by 5" when unfolded. The scratch off game cards contained a picture of a player from each of the 24 teams, his name and title of "Team Captain". Unfortunately, many of these players were not actually the captain of their respective teams. Topps issued an almost identical set the following year, using the exact same 24 players. The only major difference between the sets is the 1970 Scratch-Offs have a white background in the unfolded center, which was changed to red in the following issue.
Hall of Famer
Card has NOT been scratched, although there may be some flaking on card due to wear and the fold at the crease
The card is in EXC+ condition - see pics
