ABC Pittsburgh Pirates Professional Batting Helmet Rare 1970s Mustard Style

For your consideration is a Pittsburgh Pirates professional batting helmet, manufactured by American Baseball Cap Co. (ABC) in Media, PA.
The style is what the club wore from 1970 through 1976. Molded in black. Mustard paint is applied to the shell. Bill is bare plastic. P logo is painted on. Real leather liner. NOT game used but a very hard to find style. A must have for the Pirates fan wishing to add to their Bucs batting helmet timeline. Great for autographs. Wonderful condition although there are minor imperfections throughout. This is the exact helmet you will receive so please refer to photos. Size is approximately 7 1/8 to 7 1/4. I wear a 7 3/8 and it is tight on me.
The Pirates wore several different shades of mustard during the time this design was employed. Some darker (almost brown) and some lighter. This one is of the lighter variety. Photos have been taken in a variety of light conditions. In pure daylight the shell appears lighter and in low light conditions the mustard shell has a slight olive tint. Player photos are for period reference only.
