Portraits are hand drawn by artist Peter Rashford on 11" x 14" paper using your photo as a guide. Choose between Stabilo pencil or pencil (graphite) media. Stabilo pencil is darker compared to pencil.
Stabilo
is shades of black and pencil is shades of gray. One person or pet per drawing. Head and shoulder image. Inquire about other portrait options.
Please allow at least 1-3 weeks for your order. You will be emailed a watermarked image for approval when your order is ready.

1. Custom Portraits
These types of commissions are based on your image. Please supply an image(s) for reference or modification.
2. How do I send my reference images and in what form?
Either email or deliver a photograph. Email your image by attaching it to your email after you place an online order. Optionally, mail or deliver a photograph with your order. Art is best created from images that are in JPEG or TIFF format. Files larger that 6MB should be transferred using a service. You may send me as many photos as you have of the subject you would like made into art. I'm happy to review them and pick the ones which will give the optimum results.
3. Help, my image has unwanted items in it or looks crooked!
Don't worry!! Minor touch up is included in the price. I want you to be proud of the art you are commissioning. An example is if you have a building that has power lines in front of it and you would like them removed, I can do that. This is not a problem if there is a small object that needs to be removed, it is possible to recontruct that region. If there is a large object obstructing a detail of the main subject, it would be helpful if you included another image that showed any detail of the subject that is obstructed. Major changes may incur additional fees. You will be notified and have the option to proceed or cancel the changes.
4. Payment Terms
Orders payable in U.S. dollars. Payments may be made through PayPal.
5. How long will it take to get my order?
After placing an order for your portraits it will normally take 1-2 weeks for your portrait to be completed. Orders are usually shipped through the United States Post Office (USPS). Shipping normally takes 3-5 days. Please contact me if you need the commission sooner. Please contact me if you need faster shipping.
6. Not happy with your art?
I stand behind the quality of it's work. Complicated orders will be shown reasonable sketches or drafts and client approval given or design changes made. After delivery I offer a 10 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason with your art, just return it to me in the condition you received it. I will rework the image until you are satisfied or your order may be cancelled. Artist retains a 30% cancellation fee.
7. Where are you located? Are you a foreign company?
I am located in Cold Brook, NY, USA and will be the only person creating the art.
8. Custom Art Commission Terms:
Design Agreement: The client agrees to commission the execution of the ordered design work. Reasonable sketches or drafts may be provided and approval given or design changes made. If client decides not to proceed, all designs shall be returned to the artist, artist shall retain 30% design fee and this agreement terminated. The artist warrants and represents that, to the best of its knowledge, the work assigned hereunder is original and has not been previously published, or that consent for use has been obtained on an unlimited basis; that all work or portions thereof obtained through the client from third parties is original or, if previously published, that consent to use has been obtained on an unlimited basis; that the artist has full authority to make this agreement; and that the work prepared by the artist does not contain any scandalous, libelous, or unlawful matter. Client agrees to hold the artist harmless for all liability caused by client’s use of the artist's products.
Copyright: It is agreed that all designs are instruments of service. Client agrees to make no further commercial use of the designs or any copy or facsimile thereof without the artists consent. The artist agrees client owns or has obtained permission rights to the original reference image. The artist retains the right to use designs for publicity purposes.
