    The GONSET GSB-100 Transmitter is a complete single-sideband suppressed carrier transmitter. In addition, the unit may be used for CW, PM, and AM modes of transmission. Automatic voice-operate transmit-receive switching is provided for SSB, PM, and AM, with full range VFO frequency control. The output frequency is heterodyne from a stable variable-frequency oscillator operating from 5.05.6 mc. All other oscillators are crystal controlled for maximum stability. Suppression of the carrier and unwanted sideband in SSB mode is accomplished with a combination of crystal filtering and phasing circuitry, resulting in out-standing long-term suppression stability, making it unnecessary to keep constant check of carrier suppression as in other types of SSB equipment. The GSB-100 uses a 6DQ5 power amplifier capable of producing 100 watts PEP input. This power level is sufficient to give excellent performance as a complete self-contained SSB transmitter. Complete band switching of the 80-40-20 15 and two 600 KC segments in the 10-meter band is available. Normal factory units are shipped with 10-meter coverage of 28.5 mc - 29.1 mc and 29.1 - 29.7 mc
