    1948 - 49 Baseball Scrapbook
    This is a really great scrapbook of baseball photos and clippings from 1948-1950
    The majority of the clippings are from the 40s and 50s
    Features all the greats from that period of time as well as photos of Hall of Famers or nearly Hall of Famers from preceding years
    A total of 60 pages (30 double sided pages) and hundreds of photos are included
    Several of the pages have come loose from the binding
    There are no baseball cards or autographs in this scrapbook
    The Hart, Schaffner, and Marx book does have clippings inside of it as well so is not a 'mint copy'
    The book starts with articles about Babe Ruth's passing. This dates the start of the scrapbook to August, 1948
    Page 4 includes some great quotes from other players regarding Ruth
    The book includes photos and articles of all the greats from that period of time
    The timeline of the scrapbook can be pinpointed to this period of time because it starts with Ruth's passing and ends with articles in 1949
    Since there are no photos of Mickey Mantle included it would have to have ended no later than 1950
