Van Briggle 75th Anniversary Bowl
Beautiful LARGE bowl was made in the 1974
to commemorate the Seventy-Fifth Anniversary of The Van Briggle Art Pottery Company.
In the popular ming turquoise matte finish with a little blue overspray.  This was part of a limited edition of only 500 pieces - this bowl is #124 of 500.  It is the 75th Anniversary redesign of the Pine Cone bowl (stock number 762) originally produced from 1909-1912.
The original piece was created in 1909 by Emma Kinkead, a young artist employed and trained by Anna Van Briggle. In 1974 the Pine Cone Bowl was recreated for this Limited Edition.
Wonderful detail.  Approximately 10" across including the pine cones and 5" high.
Marked on the bottom with the double A logo and "Van Briggle Art Pottery Colo Springs Colo" and the 75th anniversary information.  Excellent condition!  No chips or cracks.  Great addition to your Van Briggle art pottery collection.  Large and heavy!
