mAT-705 is a QRP automatic antenna tuner specially designed for ICOM IC-705. It is connected to your radio's "TUNER" interface through a dedicated data cable, and you can easily and conveniently do tuning operation through the radio's antenna tuner menu.
Features:
Aluminum housing. Front and rear panels use aluminum milling technology and laser engraving technology. The appearance is small, beautiful, sturdy and durable, so it can be well applied to outdoor environments.
Wide frequency working range: 1.8MHz to 54MHz. It can well support common types of antennas such as monopole, bipolar, and Yagi.
Large-capacity storage library and efficient adjustment. mAT-705 has up to 16000 data memory spaces. When the antenna tuner is tuned, it will first retrieve the data in the memory corresponding to the current frequency and configure the antenna tuner, then check the current SWR, and stop tuning if it is not higher than 1.5. If the current SWR is higher than 1.5, restart tuning.
mAT-705 also has a new function of self-learning, it will call the tuning data of the adjacent frequency as a reference, thereby improving the tuning speed.
Built-in 10440 rechargeable lithium battery. The mAT-705 antenna tuner uses built-in 2pcs rechargeable lithium batteries for power supply. The battery capacity is 1000mAh, and the antenna tuner is equipped with a TYPE-C charging interface, which is very convenient for charging! The internal use of high-quality magnetic latching relays, and optimization of the software, make the standby current only a few milliamperes, greatly extending the battery life!
Small and light body design. The appearance size is only 14.0cmx6.7cmx2.8cm (LxWxH), and the weight is only 250g, which is very easy to carry and install! * The length without antenna base is 14.0cm, and the length with antenna base is 15.1cm.
With a AT-705-CB data cable. AT-705-CB is a high-quality shielded cable. One end of the data cable is plugged into the "CON" jack on the rear panel of the antenna tuner, and the other end is plugged into the "TUNER" jack of the radio. The radio station sends tuning instructions to the antenna tuner through this data line to control the work of the antenna tuner and realize automatic tuning.
Front Panel Introduction:
PWR/CHARGING: Power and charging indicator.
ONLINE/TUNING: Online/tuning indicator. This light is off, it means that antenna tuner is offline, the green light is that antenna tuner is online; the red light is that antenna tuner is being tuned.
CHARGE: TYPE-C charging port
Rear Panel Introduction:
CON: Data cable jack. One end of the data cable mAT-705-CB is plugged into this jack, and the other end is plugged into the "TUNER" jack of the IC-705 radio. It should be noted that please turn off the power supply of the radio and antenna tuner before plugging in the data cable. Otherwise, the antenna tuner or radio may be damaged.
ANT: This socket is used to connect an antenna.
RF IN: This socket is connected to the ANT socket of IC-705 through a BNC radio frequency jumper wire.
Installation Steps:
The installation of mAT-705antenna tuner only needs three steps to complete:
1. Connect the antenna tuner's CON with the radio's TUNER using a data cable.
2. Use a BNC radio frequency jumper wire to connect to the RF IN of the antenna and the ANT of the radio.
3. Connect the feeder connecting the antenna to the ANT of the antenna, and the connection will be successful.
Note: BNC RF jumper wire is not included, please purchase separately.
