MEL OTT GAME USED ? 1937 ORDER RECORD VINTAGE BASEBALL BAT HOF PSA/DNA COA LOA

You are purchasing the item in the title and photos shown. This 35" bat dates to Mel Ott's 1937 Louisville Slugger order records. The bat has a full letter of authenticity by PSA/DNA. Please note in the comments of the letter it states "the condition of the subject bat prohibits us to determine game use by Ott."
The bat does exhibit evidence of heavy use, but due to it's journey over the past 85 years and improper storage this bat cannot be fully attributed to game use by Ott. The bat was 100% ordered by Ott so one could argue that it probably saw use in one or more of his 654 at bats during the New York Giants National League Championship year. A season which also saw Ott be selected to the NL All-Star team, lead the league in walks, and lead the league in home runs. At this price and condition it presents as a great alternative to PSA Bat Facts approx. value of a game used Ott bat being ,500. In addition a Mears A7 Game Used Mel Ott (1934-1937) sold for ,400 in Goldin Auctions.
