    up for consideration is a fine old Antique Victorian Architectural Cage. The piece measures 27 inches long by 22 inches high by about 15 inches deep. There are a few old repairs and a few pieces that have separated of which I placed back on after photos. This piece comes from an old estate of which it was stuffed away up in the attic...hence it is dusty. It has a slide out tin floor and it looks like it would have had a dividing screen down the middle...probably for separate species or used as a mating cage putting male or female and or introducing a potential mate they would keep them separated until they grew accustomed to each other's presence.
