    Description

ORIGINAL WW1 QUEEN'S WESTMINSTER RIFLES  16TH BN LONDON REGT SHOULDER  PATCH
Scarce original embroidered shoulder patch worn by the 16th (County of London) Battalion London Regiment. This patch measures just over 2 inches across. These were worn sewn at the top of the sleeve on the Service Dress Coat. Any WW1 British formation signs or cloth insignia are very hard to find. This example has had some mothing to the wool background but the cotton backing and embroidery are still in good shape and solid. A good hard to find insignia to a hard fighting regiment that saw action throughout the war. Don't miss this opportunity to add this to your collection.
