Up for auction is a black and white lithograph of Three Rivers Stadium in
Pittsburgh
,
Pennsylvania
—Former Home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
This lithograph measures 16” high by 22” wide in total and is MINT condition.
The actual picture of the lithograph is 13” high by 19” wide and is “framed” by gold leaf with another 1-1/2” light gray border.
This lithograph would look incredible framed.
Based on the fine print in the lower left corner of the print, this lithograph was produced by The Sporting News Publishing Company in 1990.
This lithograph lists the seating capacity of 58,729 and first game on
July 16, 1970
.
In the lower right corner of the lithograph is a view of the outside of the stadium.
In the lower left corner is the face of Roberto Clemente and in the upper right corner is the face of Willie Stargell.
The center of the lithograph shows an inside view of the stadium as if you were sitting directly behind home plate.
Various areas of the field and outfield stands are marked where great individual and team feats were accomplished such as:
