    Description

    Standing 12" tall with a base diameter of approximately 6", this rare 1913 Van Briggle pottery bud vase / lamp base is surrounded by three climbing lizards. There is a factory hole approximately 3/8" diameter which I suspect was there to accommodate a lamp cord.  There is no evidence that this was ever an electrified lamp base, however, because of the hole in the side and bottom, it would not have held water for live flowers. The color is a variation of deep blues.  There are no chips,cracks or damage to this Van Briggle piece.  FREE shipping, handling and insurance for deliveries within the 50 Untied States.
