    Description

    The item for sale is a  redware pottery cup and saucer set that was made in Trenton, NJ by the Stangl pottery company during 1970-1978.  The set is in the Rooster pattern.  The pattern features a hand painted rooster depicted in a Folk Art style against a yellow background on the saucer.  The cup has a large rooster head in profile on one of the sides.  The set was previously owned.  The condition is almost the same as when made.  The saucer has a small chip on the underside of the rim as shown in photograph 5.  The cup has a small glaze loss on the foot that can be seen in photograph 6.  The height and diameter of the cup is 3"12 and 3 1/4".  The diameter of the saucer is  6 1/8".
