Super Rare Vintage Antique Leon Day Negro Leagues Statue 7" Tall

Description

This listing is for a very rare vintage/antique Leon Day 7" tall figure.  Appears to be some sort of ceramic material.  I believe this was owned at some point by Leon Day, as it is signed on the leg by his wife, Geraldine, as she sometime signed his name for him, and I am very familiar with her example of his signature.  It has soiling, but I did not try to clean it.  Truly an amazing find in my opinion.  He wore #10 on his uniform, and this one is #5, but I don't have any additional information.   I would be happy to post more information on it from a more knowledgeable Ebayer.
