    Description

    For sale is a Ted Kluszewski Game Used Louisville Slugger Hillrich & Bradsby Co. Model 125 Bat.  U1 is engraved on the Bat's Knob. It shows Game usage & is cracked on the Bat's Handle (Pictured). The Bat also shows what looks like old Pine Tar or Charcoal Marks, 'that the players used to heat the bats when it was really cold' that has stained the handle of the Bat ? However all things considered this bat is in real great shape considering it's age (over 60 years old). Ted or 'Big Klu' as he was so named played in the Majors from 47' - 61'. He was a 4X N/L All-Star, 1954 Home Run Leader, 1955 N/L Hits Leader &  1st Base fielding Leader from 1951 - 1955. They didn't have the Gold Glove award back then.The Red's retired his jersey in 1998.. A fantastic collectible !
