Van Briggle American Art Pottery Turquoise Blue Shell Girl Figurine

For your consideration this is an adorable Van Briggle American art pottery figurine. This beautiful figurine depicts a
mate glazed
nude girl holding a shell and it is marked with incised Van Briggle's logo on the back, near the edge (see photo #3). According to our research, this piece was designed by William Higman for Van Briggle. It measures 7.5"  high by 5 3/8" wide and 5 7/8" deep.  It is in great vintage condition, free of chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. As shown on the last two photos, there is a protuberance on the side of one of the hands, which feels like ceramic and some yellowish stains on the bottom. Overall, it is in great shape.
