Small yet visually distinctive "
onion bulb
"
styling bud vase
with five sprouting flower bud designs throughout.
The original design is crafted and fired in its
popular Ming-blue glaze hue.
Coloring starts at bottom in a darker blue hue then blending upward to a medium blue, leading to a wonderful turquoise hue.
The multi-colors offer both depth but more importantly visual interest.
Created by an intricate process applied by hand with an end result of a small yet stunning pottery vase; and because of that when you look closely at the vase the glaze affect gives a smooth
crackling effect all over.
Vintage from the 1930's era this vase is pre-owned and used yet overall good condition with no cracks, chips or breaks, but know it is not perfect an was
obviously
used in a home overtime.
Noticeable and familiar "
conjoined AA Van Briggle
" logo along with company name and location ("Colo. Spgs.") on bottom.
According to Van Briggle's catalogue the shape number of the vase is 645
