Rare and one of a kind Van Briggle Pottery original small teddy bear figurine or paperweight in a good lilac blue glaze. Cute bear has a heart for a tail. EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. A couple of harmless factory firing lines that do not go through. Bottom marked with logo, Van Briggle, Co. Springs Co., Original and unknown artist cipher. Bear is 4 1/4" tall and 3" wide. The rumor is that these may have been made by Craig Stevenson as part of a Disneyland proposal. There is a larger bear and a small and larger duck that was part of the demo/grouping.
