Van Briggle Pottery 3" Luna Moth/Butterfly Cabinet Vase, Shape 683, Blue
Small cabinet vase with Luna moth/butterfly design. Smaller than most of the Luna moth vases, at slightly less than 3" tall. Sharp mold makes the pattern look hand incised. The surface has an unusual stippled texture. Medium blue glaze sprayed over a light greenish background. Manufactured between 1922 and 1926.
Condition:  No chips, cracks or repairs. Smaller than pinpoint glaze pop on butterfly wing. A spot of misplaced glaze on the side. Some crazing.
Marks:  Incised AA mark, Van Briggle U.S.A. This mark was used from 1922 to 1926.
Dimensions:  2 7/8" high, 2 7/8" wide.
