    Description

    Very rare Alexandre Dumas Fils. autographed letter written in pencil in excellent antique condition.
    He was a son of Alexandre Dumas, born in Paris in 1824. Like his father he was a celebrated author and playwright. He was the author of the romantic novel "The Lady of the Camellias". In 1874 he was admitted to the Academie francaise and 1894 he was awarded the "Legion d'Honneur".
    The signature and letter is in excellent antique condition even though that is written on pencil. The autograph is authentic, it was taken from an antique autograph book.
