    Description

    You are bidding on an ANTIQUE A.J. REACH CO. "THE BURLEY" MODEL C  NO 10/40 BASEBALL BAT.  PHILADELPHIA.  This bat dates from 1911-1930.  Probably an early date.  Length is 33 inches.  The good news---VERY EARLY, HARD TO FIND BAT!!   Branding is strong and deep.  Logo is branded on the knob.  It is not cracked.  No tape.  The bad news---Condition.  I'll describe but please check the pictures and judge for yourself.  General age conditions.  The knob has missing pieces.  The end of the barrel is rough.  Some white (possibly paint) in some of the grain on the barrel.   Check the pictures as they are used as part of the description.
