    Vintage Stangl Large Bean Pot Cookie Jar Town & Country Blue And White
    NICE Condition
    The Stangl bean pot/cookie jar is in Very Good++ Pre-Owned Condition and has been hand painted in a lovely combination of blue and white.
    The jar with the lid on it measures approximately 10"h and 10" from handle to handle.
    The bean pot style ceramic jar is fairly heavy and that is reflected in the postage.
    There is one tiny rough spot on the handle where the finish didn't take properly at the manufacturing stage or the handle got scraped against something else.
    The scratch mark is very slightly and is hardly noticeable because of the overall random sponge paint job.
    (I pointed this out in the picture with the blue circle on the part of the handle where it is slightly rough.)
    Stangl Pottery was a company located in Flemington, New Jersey and later in Trenton, NJ that manufactured a line of dinnerware and other items.
    Originally founded as Samuel Hill Pottery in 1814, and later in 1860 became known as Fulper Pottery.
    In 1955 the companies' name changed to Stangl Pottery and it's dinnerware and pottery is still prized by collectors!
    Altogether this is an attractive, hand painted and collectible decor piece that can be enjoyed in many ways!
