Vintage Van Briggle Art Pottery 4-Footed Bowl Ming Blue Turquoise Matte Finish

Description

Van Briggle Pottery 4-Footed Bowl, Ming Blue. Small bowl or planter with four feet and raised "bumps" around the sides. Darker blue overglaze on the top over a lighter blue base.
Condition:  No chips, cracks, repairs. Good mold and color. There are a number of small stains on the inner and outer surfaces around the bowl (please inspect ALL photos). I washed the bowl in warm soapy water; but I will leave any additional cleaning to the new owner. There is also some light crazing on the bottom (photo 7). The feet and inside of the bowl are a bit dusty/dirty; I believe the previous owner may have used this as a planter.
Marks:  Small conjoined A's Van Briggle mark on the bottom of one foot. Glazer's mark I, from the 1940s-1960s, on another foot.
Approx. Dimensions:  3" high, 5 1/4" at widest point.
