Thrifting find. Vintage Van Briggle Art Pottery 7” Pitcher, Black Glossy Glaze. Made circa 1980s in Colorado Springs, USA. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing that I could find, but there are a couple of scuffs on the surface I have circled in a picture. There are also two manufacturing flaws - a pea-sized spot on the side of the handle appears to have been ground down; maybe there was an errant piece of clay or glaze pop there. The underside of the spout is also rough and kind of bubbly looking. Please see pictures for details and condition, and let me know if you have any questions. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
