football mascot metal bank

photos, as they are an important part of my description. This vintage still bank with a coppered-colored look is rather
scarce
and is heavy, weighing over one pound. This football bank measures approximately 5" tall by 5" wide. The Razorback mascot is perched upon a football, with the school's name and their famous "hog call" sports chant
"Woo Pig Sooey"
(sometimes spelled "Woo Pig Sooie"). The coin slot is on the back of the football, with the bank appearing to be a promotion for the
Arkansas First National Bank
in
Hot Springs, Arkansas
. There's a keyed metal slat at the bottom of the bank, but found the bank with no key. I believe the bank to be from the 1960's era, and is quite similar to the Banthrico school banks that were produced back then. The
University of Arkansas
is located in
Fayetteville, Arkansas
